On March 19, 2025, the Philippine Society of Information Technology Students (PSITS) – Davao Region (Region 11) announced the final rankings for its Festival of Talents (2025) on its Facebook page, confirming that AISAT ranked 21st out of 30 participating schools.

AISAT had nineteen (19) entries from the Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (BSEMC) program, currently its only one with ties to information technology following the discontinuation of the Game Development program in the Institute of Design and Technology (IDT).

Out of the many categories the event offered, here are the confirmed rankings and scores as announced in the Facebook page, as well as other entries from this season:

Interschool Short Film Festival (2024)

The Interschool Short Film Festival met its end on December 8, 2024, and AISAT Davao released SCRIBBLE, an entry for the horror genre. While AISAT won several awards in the 2019 season, this entry was never given a rank.

Interschool Esports Tournament – VALORANT

The VALORANT Tournament, an entry in the Interschool Esports Tournament series, was held on February 7–21, 2025 at NCGC Esports Sta. Ana Branch, with Charylle Atis, Gillian Autida, Izzy Aduana, Andree Macahig, and Paul dela Calzada as the AISAT representatives as shown in this post.

Below are the results of their matches:

  • R1: Lost to PWC Davao (0-2)
  • R1/M12: Won by default vs UMTC Tagum (0-1)
  • R2/M17: Lost to UMDC Digos (0-2)

Programming Quiz Bowl

The Programming Quiz Bowl was held on March 5, 2025 at the University of Immaculate Conception (Main/Fr. Selga Campus), in which the participants chose and typed answers related to the Java programming language, from basic information to program tracing.

According to the results post, Denise Angelica Clave got the highest rank for a representative from AISAT at 4th place, followed by Andree Niccolai Macahig at 11th and John Mark Serra at the last – 14th.

The results for this particular entry are also acknowledged in the Institute of Design and Technology Facebook page, highlighting their debut as first-year students and Digital Animation majors from BSEMC.

Miscellaneous Entries

AISAT also had entries for On-the-Spot Photography (by Mikaela Paula Mendoza) and the Digital Poster-Making Competition (by Jacky Orbita), though they were unplaced.

Though this year’s AISAT entries did not land in the top three for each of those categories, the BSEMC students gave it their all in the festival. With each entry throughout the run, the participants entered an experience to learn from, while going through either a day in class or a season for the festival, contending against other students in Information Technology and related programs.
