“The aim of career guidance should not be to deploy expertise to make decisions for people but rather to help people make decisions for themselves.” – UNESCO, 2013.
In line with this philosophy, the Asian International School of Aeronautics and Technology (AISAT) has been conducting Career Guidance Orientations (CGOs) at various schools during the second semester of the academic year 2024–2025. These orientations are designed to assist students in choosing their future paths in aviation and animation, offering insight, inspiration, and information.
The CGO team is headed by Ms. Viktorria Villamor, AISAT’s Marketing and Admissions Officer. Joining her are Mr. Shawn Roslinda (Assistant Purchasing Officer and Company Driver), Ms. Camelle Yu (Executive Secretary), Ms. Maria Cecilia Santander (Student Facilitator), Ms. Chandrika Porol (AET Program Head), Mr. Eiji Hosoda (IDT Instructor), and Mr. Jon Lorence Panelo (Part-Time AvM Instructor).
CGO Highlights
- January 28, 2025 – Precious International School of Davao (PISD)
The first CGO kicked off at PISD, alma mater of Mr. Jon Lorence Panelo. During their academic week, AISAT participated in a career talk and delivered a short but impactful 2-minute presentation. This included the “Why AISAT” video and a highlight of the AvM internship at Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority.
- February 3, 2025 – Davao Chong Hua High School
Visiting the alma mater of Ms. Camelle Yu, AISAT was allotted 10–15 minutes to present. The presentation included a 5-minute institutional video, an AFES testimonial, animation program advertisements, and the AvM OJT reel, impressively showcasing AISAT’s comprehensive offerings.
- February 11, 2025 – Davao City Special National High School, Bangkal
In a room-to-room orientation format at the alma mater of Ms. Villamor, students received flyers detailing AISAT’s programs and AISAT stickers as memorabilia.
- February 18, 2025 – Catalunan Pequeño Senior High School
Another room-to-room session featured the debut of AISAT’s updated tri-fold flyers—each panel focusing on a specific degree program. Stickers were given to both students and teachers as tokens.
- February 28, 2025 – Colegio de San Ignacio, Buhangin
AISAT took part in a full-day event, presenting its programs to STEM students in the morning and ABM and HUMSS students in the afternoon. The session emphasized industry relevance and career readiness.

When asked about the importance of career guidance, Ms. Viktorria Villamor shared,
“A career guidance orientation is one of the eureka moments that Junior and Senior High School students must experience. It’s a form of enlightenment that encourages them to explore their passions, interests, and abilities, ultimately helping them pursue the careers of their dreams.”
She emphasized that AISAT Davao is committed to supporting students in discovering and choosing a fulfilling path in aviation and animation.
Let your dreams take flight—with AISAT, your future begins today.
