96 students of the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), under the National Service Training Program (NSTP) at the Asian International School of Aeronautics and Technology (AISAT), celebrated their completion ceremony on May 3, 2025. The event, held at the Mais Hall in Homitori, was graced by faculty members, school administrators, and NSRC officers, marking the culmination of months of service, learning, and community engagement.

Mr. Roy Francis Berro, NSTP coordinator and CWTS instructor, led the program with his trademark warmth and encouragement. Joining him were Academic Affairs OIC Ms. Debilyn Mae Chua, School Administrator Mr. Matty Joey Torres, and Interim OSA Coordinator Ms. Camelle Yu, who delivered messages of appreciation and distributed certificates to the graduating CWTS students. The ceremony was not just a celebration of academic completion but a tribute to the students’ evolving role as responsible, engaged citizens.

The program commenced with the entry of colors led by the ROTC, followed by the singing of the national anthem and school hymn. A solemn moment of silence was observed to honor those who inspired the students throughout their CWTS journey.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the students’ outreach activities. Each group showcased their projects, which ranged from feeding programs to outreach initiatives for vulnerable communities. These presentations reflected the students’ creativity, compassion, and dedication, vividly portraying the impact of their collective efforts.

To recognize outstanding contributions, awards were given to exceptional group leaders who demonstrated exemplary leadership in their outreach projects. The Best Outreach Activity award was presented to groups whose initiatives stood out in terms of impact, organization, and community involvement.

Individual students were also acknowledged for their active participation and unwavering dedication during the service period. These recognitions emphasized that true service is not about accolades but about the sincere desire to uplift and serve others.

One of the most anticipated parts of the day was the formal distribution of CWTS completion certificates. With smiles and a sense of accomplishment, students lined up to receive the document that symbolized more than just a program’s end—it marked their growth into socially responsible individuals.

These certificates represented responsibility, compassion, and commitment. It was a meaningful transition: from being mere students to becoming contributors to the greater good.

The ceremony concluded with a heartwarming video presentation, chronicling the students’ CWTS journey—from tree planting and coastal cleanups to basic life support and firefighting training. The montage sparked smiles and nostalgia, capturing both the serious and lighthearted moments that defined the experience.

As the screen faded to black, the Mais Hall echoed with applause—not just for the memories and friendships formed but for the meaningful steps each student had taken toward a life of service.

The CWTS Completion Ceremony was not an ending but a new beginning—a beginning of being accountable, compassionate, and active members of society, ready to face the world with purpose-driven hearts.
