On November 13, 2024, AISAT’s Aerolympics continued with an action-packed Day 3 at Homitori, where the Red Nighthawks, Blue Warthogs, Green Osprey, and Orange Apache competed in intense sports and strategy-based contests. The day started with a thrilling motor show featuring big bikes and cutting-edge designs.
Volleyball: Fierce Matches and Apache’s Elimination
The men’s volleyball games started with the Red Nighthawks defeating Orange Apache 2-0. Green Osprey followed by overcoming Blue Warthogs with another 2-0 win. Game 3 saw Blue Warthogs face Orange Apache, clinching a 2-0 victory and eliminating Apache from men’s volleyball.
In women’s volleyball, Rthe ed Nighthawks triumphed over Orange Apache 2-0, putting Apache in a tough spot. In Game 3, Green Osprey defeated Orange Apache 2-0, ending Apache’s women’s volleyball campaign. The day closed with a thrilling exhibition match, where AISAT narrowly defeated San Pedro College (SPC) 2-1, with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, and 25-19.
E-Sports: Osprey and Apache Dominate
Green Osprey displayed tactical skill in Call of Duty Mobile, claiming the championship title. In Mobile Legends, Orange Apache emerged victorious, showing their resilience and teamwork. Green Osprey secured first runner-up in both e-sports tournaments, while Blue Warthogs and Red Nighthawks rounded out the standings.
Chess: Osprey’s Strategic Wins
Green Osprey took the chess championships in both men’s and women’s divisions, demonstrating strategic skill. Red Nighthawks and Orange Apache claimed first runner-up positions in the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively, with Blue Warthogs finishing in the remaining spots.
Table Tennis: Intense Games in Singles and Doubles
Table tennis featured intense matchups but was not yet at the championship stage. In men’s singles, Red Nighthawks defeated Orange Apache in Game 1, followed by Blue Warthogs defeating Green Osprey in Game 2. Blue Warthogs then went on to beat Red Nighthawks in Game 3.
In men’s doubles, Orange Apache overcame Red Nighthawks in Game 1, while Green Osprey defeated Blue Warthogs in Game 2. In Game 3, Orange Apache took another win against Green Osprey.
For women’s singles, Red Nighthawks won over Orange Apache in Game 1, and Blue Warthogs beat Green Osprey in Game 2, with Blue again defeating Red in Game 3. In women’s doubles, Orange Apache won over Red Nighthawks in Game 1, Blue Warthogs defeated Green Osprey in Game 2, and Blue secured a final win over Orange in Game 3.
Word Games: Osprey Leads in Scrabble and Word Factory
Green Osprey excelled in Scrabble and Word Factory, securing top spots in each. Blue Warthogs took first runner-up, followed by Orange Apache and Red Nighthawks, highlighting Osprey’s versatility.
Basketball: Apache and Warthogs on the Road to Finals
Orange Apache knocked out Green Osprey in men’s basketball, winning 57-50. Blue Warthogs narrowly defeated Red Nighthawks 62-55, advancing to the finals. Red Nighthawks and Orange Apache are set to compete for the final championship spot. AISAT also secured a victory in an exhibition game against AFES, winning 58-43.
Parlor Games: Blue Warthogs Win Tug of War
Adding to the day’s festivities, a tug-of-war competition saw Blue Warthogs take the championship, followed by Red Nighthawks, Green Osprey, and Orange Apache. The event fostered camaraderie and team spirit.
Motor Show: A Showcase of Power and Innovation
The motor show featured an exciting lineup of powerful big bikes and innovative motor designs, showcasing advances in engineering and drawing large crowds.
Highlights: Apache’s Determination Amid Intense Competition
Day 3 of Aerolympics 2024 saw unforgettable performances, with Blue Warthogs excelling in table tennis, Green Osprey dominating strategic games, and Orange Apache impressing in Mobile Legends and tug of war.
