AISAT’s search for the next faces of AISAT, held during the AEROLYMPICS, is always a highlight of the event, offering a chance for students to showcase their talents, leadership, and advocacy. This year’s pageant was filled with fierce competition and remarkable performances, culminating in the crowning of the AISAT Ambassadress 2024 and AISAT Ambassador 2024. Contestants from the four prominent teams of the Aeronautical Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT)—the Red Nighthawks, Orange Apache, Blue Warthogs, and Green Osprey—competed for the coveted titles, embodying the institution’s values of excellence, leadership, and community spirit.

A Commitment to Change

The evening star was Rizza G. Arnoza from the Green Osprey, who was crowned AISAT Ambassadress 2024. Her remarkable performance and dedication to her advocacy of “Sky’s the Limit: Supporting Working Students in Aviation Education earned her the top title. Rizza’s advocacy focused on working on students’ challenges, particularly those pursuing demanding fields like aviation. She passionately spoke about the need for more support systems to help students balance work and study without compromising their education. Her message resonated deeply with the judges, and she took home several prestigious awards, including the CKC Choice Award, Miss Eloquent, Best in Creative Jeans, and Best in Advocacy, demonstrating her eloquence, grace, and commitment to making a difference.

Lloyd Aldrich C. Bañas, also from Green Osprey, was named AISAT Ambassador 2024. Like Rizza, Lloyd’s advocacy for “Sky’s the Limit: Supporting Working Students in Aviation Education” struck a chord with the judges. His goal to help working students overcome the barriers they face in aviation education was a key part of his platform. His ability to articulate his advocacy with clarity and passion helped him stand out as the top choice for the title of Ambassador. Lloyd also won several awards, including the CKC Choice Award, Mr. Eloquent, Mr. Photogenic, Best in Creative Jeans, and Best in Advocacy, cementing his place as a true leader and role model for his peers.

The Runners-Up: Strong Performances Across the Board

While Rizza and Lloyd claimed the top spots, the rest of the contestants also demonstrated impressive qualities, each making a mark in their own right. The 1st Runner-Up Ambassadress was Ryevein Zelle R. Camarillo from the Orange Apache. Ryevein captivated the judges with her charm and confident stage presence. Although she did not win the crown, her ability to connect with the audience and judges left a lasting impression.

Similarly, Stephen Louis Winster F. Absin from Orange Apache was named 1st Runner-Up Ambassador. His eloquent speeches and poised demeanor earned him this high honor. Like his fellow contestants, Stephen exhibited the dedication and intelligence that are hallmarks of AISAT students, making him a strong contender throughout the competition.

Casey Allana A. Carreon, representing the Red Nighthawks, was named the 2nd Runner-Up Ambassadress. Casey’s warm personality and articulate responses stood out during the event. She also received the Miss Photogenic and Ms. People’s Choice awards, further proving her popularity among the audience and judges.

In the 2nd Runner-Up Ambassador category, Mark Lester V. Advincula from Blue Warthogs earned his place with his confident stage presence and ability to communicate effectively. Mark’s performance highlighted his potential, and although he did not win the title, his dedication and advocacy were clear to everyone who watched him compete.

The Third Runners-Up: Rising Stars

The pageant also honored the 3rd Runner-Up contestants for both Ambassadress and Ambassador. Crizia Marie D. Isorena from Blue Warthogs earned the 3rd Runner-Up Ambassadress title, showcasing her confidence and leadership potential. Meanwhile, Jhonber-Kemp Salmorin from Red Nighthawks secured the 3rd Runner-Up Ambassador position, impressing with his strong skills. Both contestants left a lasting impact with their remarkable performances and commitment.
