This year 2022 marks the 28th anniversary of World Teachers’ Day, with celebrations taking place around the world. The theme is: “The Transformation of Education Begins with Teachers”. Teachers work hard to inspire, guide, educate and mentor students every day.

The teacher always puts students at the center of his/ her work.

To our most supportive and dynamic School President, Atty. Myra Ann Wee Toe-Hio, Sir Matty Joey Torres, our School Administrator, OICs,  Program Heads, Faculty members, Admin Staff, our dear students, Good morning! (And welcome)

Every year on October 5, World Teachers’ Day is being celebrated. It is a time to remember those special educators who supported us when we were students, and show gratitude to those who inspired students in the classroom

Teachers are possibly true as the most important members of our society. They give all students purpose, set them up as responsible citizens of our world, and inspire in them a dynamic quality to do well and succeed in life.

Teachers play a key role in shaping the future of each and every student. Right from kindergarten to university, they are the ones who impart knowledge and teach students about everything important. Moreover, they also teach about ethical values and imbibe moral values.

A teacher need not be perfect, but a teacher ought to be knowledgeable so as to provide the students with the right information and considerate so as to be able to try and understand every student.

Teachers have the moral and mental accountability of equipping the youth for active participation in their works. Teachers are often regarded as exemplifying an ideal and often taken as a role model with a strong desire to achieve something high or great.

Teacher’s teaching style incorporates the understanding of the different ways students learn, how to manage the classroom and how to view their students. Are they empty vessels waiting to absorb the knowledge teachers impart? Or do the students play a more active role, engaging in the learning process through activities?

For me a TEACHER is one who is;

  Talented, Encouraging, Amazing, has Character, Honest, Efficient, and Responsible

To the world, you may be just another teacher, but to AISAT, you are our hero. We respect you for what you have been doing for AISAT all through these years. AISAT may not have the best students among the best, but you my dearest Faculty are the best teacher AISAT could ever ask for. Thank you for accepting AISAT for what it is and for loving AISAT as much. This is also the opportunity of all our dearest students to extend your deepest gratitude to all your Teachers recognizing them with your deepest and heartfelt “Thank you Sirs and Ma’ams”.

I would also acknowledge a special teacher we ever have who transformed your education for your dreams to take flight, without her we will never be here. May I request everybody to please stand up and let’s give a warmest round of applause to our very dynamic School President Atty. Myra Ann Wee Toe-Hio, Thank you Ma’am for spearheading AISAT.

A good teacher is like a candle – it consumes itself to light the way for others, says Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, former President of Turkey.

Teaching has always been considered as a noble profession. A good teacher never looks for his/her own success and endeavor rather the good teacher always has his/her students’ present and future in mind.

As we close this event today, I commend the SSC through the leadership of Mr. Dwight Quino from the Office of Students’ Affairs for their untiring support in the preparation of this event to be a success. Thank you Student Supreme Council and Sir Dwight Quino.

My warmest greetings to all Faculty. Happy Teachers’ Day and happy celebration to all. God bless everyone!
