On November 3, 2021 to November 11, 2021, Asian International School of Aeronautics and Technology held a huge online event for their students. This is the first ever AISATunggalian online considering that there is still a pandemic going on and schools are still not open. For the safety of the students while also giving them a breather from academic tasks – this is the safest decision. There were many activities, both competitive and non-competitive, that students who wish to showcase their talents are able to join.

Three teams competed with the online intramurals, which are the Blue Warthogs, Green Osprey, and Red Nighthawks. Orange Apache, which was one of the teams from the previous intramurals, is currently dissolved to relieve team communication and ensuring that virtual tournaments run as smoothly as possible. The facilitator guaranteed that the Orange Apache will rise again when the face-to-face set up is allowed.

Activities for the competitive event are the following:

  • Online Photography
    • Indoor Photography: “Freedom of Expression”
    • Outdoor Photography: “Growing Stronger, Reaching Higher”
  • Banner/Logo Making Contest
  • Dance Competition
  • Battle of the Bands
  • Quiz Bowl
  • Rap/Song Making Contest
  • Parody Making Contest
  • Kalokalike
  • Extemporaneous Speaking
  • Essay Writing
  • CODM Tournament
  • AISAT Ambassador and Ambassadress

For the non-competitive event, AISAT had a solidarity backyard tree planting as a way to promote and teach the students on the significance of a healthy environment.

In the previous year, AISAT was not able to hold AISATunggalian 2020 as the online setting was still new and everyone was having a hard time adjusting to a different setting. Students were still trying to catch up with the sudden pandemic as everyone had various issues going on so it was not the best time for an event such as this one to take place.

This year, the admins decided to let the students have a merriment to relax while also being able to flaunt their skills, competitiveness and teamwork.

Even with the online setting, many students managed to display their knack on different areas of creativity. Although the event is limited with only a few contestants available, many were still able to have fun.

Here are the winners for each event:

All teams did their best to be the champion.

Blue Warthogs won the crown on “AISATunggalian 2021: Going Virtual”, dominating most of the events, earning the title. Everyone had their chance to show off each team’s grit to win, however, Blue Warthogs showed off their supremacy and triumphed in the event. The 1st runner up was Red Nighthawks and the 2nd runner up was Green Osprey.

In the previous AISATunggalian, which was held way back in 2019, the winner was Green Osprey, 1st runner up was Red Nighthawks and the 2nd runner up was Blue Warthogs.

There were challenges and difficulties during the event due to the online setting of the event and everyone was new to it, especially those who handled each program but it was a success nonetheless.
